Study on Electromagnetic Scattering from the Grassland Based on Method of Moment

In order to meet the needs of radar detection and remote sensing of grassland and its nearby targets, the Gaussian type distribution is chosen to represent the height undulation of grass and soil surface, the Topp model is chosen to represent the dielectric constant of soil layer, and the double dispersion model is used to represent the dielectric constant of grass, the Method of Moments is applied to study the characteristics of electromagnetic scattering from the grassland, and the angular distribution curve of scattering coefficient is obtained, the effects of incident angle, incident wave frequency, grass water content, soil moisture, on the scattering coefficient are discussed.
