摘要
By assessing the internal contention under very high traffic load in a clustered wavelength-routing optical cross-connect enabling 224x224 degree of connectivity, this study draws conclusions notably different from related prior arts. It also highlights why such a clustering might not suit most of the meshed transparent WDM networks.
