摘要

Two software tools developed under Office of Naval Research auspices address design of thermal management solutions: Smart Ships System Design (S3D), and the Air Force Research Lab (AFRL) Transient Thermal Management Optimization (ATTMO). This paper describes the use of both tools in modeling small and large thermal systems to note the relevant use cases for the software tools and explore areas of synergy in their development and use.
