Design and Research of THz Metamaterial Sensor Device

Single-walled carbon nanotubes have excellent optoelectronic response in the terahertz. In this paper, a terahertz metasurface based on single-walled carbon nanotube film is proposed. The results show that under the excitation of terahertz wave, the proposed device surface can generate strong localized enhanced electromagnetic field. Then, we have studied the influence of structural parameters on the transmission spectrum and analyzed the sensing performance based on single-walled carbon nanotube metasurfaces. Finally, we fitted the relationship between the frequency shift and the refractive index of the analyte by theoretical calculation, and compared the sensing sensitivity under different substrates.
