A Low-RCS Holographic Metasurface Antenna Based on Transmissive/absorptive Metasurface

A holographic metasurface antenna with out-band radar cross-section (RCS) reduction using transmissive/absorptive metasurface is proposed in this paper. The holographic metasurface antenna is fed by a monopole that works at 11.5GHz. The transmissive and absorptive two layers of the metasurface are placed above the antenna. The absorptive metasurface can absorb incident waves and realize the RCS reduction when the antenna is working, the electromagnetic (EM) waves radiated by the antenna can pass through the transmissive layer.
