Development of Neurofuzzy Prediction Models for Water Conductivity

This research study intends to analyze the water quality of the Nainital lake situated in Uttarakhand, India. There are various parameters associated with the water of lake on which its pollution level depends on viz. pH, total dissolved solids, temperature, hardness, BOD (Biological Oxygen Demand), and the electrical conductivity. The present article is an attempt to anticipate electrical conductivity of lake water if total hardness and temperature values are known. The ANFIS based models using grid partition, and subtractive clustering approach have been created in MATLAB for the anticipation of the electrical conductivity of lake water. A comparison of the quality of both created models is also presented.
