ISRJ identification method based on Chi-square test and range equidistant detection

Interrupted sampling repeater jamming (ISRJ) can generate false targets with the same direction and equally spaced range cell after matched filtered processing in radar receiver. Base on the above characteristics, an ISRJ jamming identification algorithm combining angle Chi-square hypothesis test and range equidistant detection is proposed in this paper, and it is named as Chi-Equidistant algorithm. The proposed method utilizes Chi square test to classify the targets from the same direction, then programs histogram to the range of targets and applies equidistant detection to find ISRJ false targets, leaving the real target alone. Simulation results verify the efficiency of the proposed method.
