Research on the Motion Recognition by Statistical Method Based on RFID Technology

Motion recognition is a popular research topic in recent years, and the corresponding data processing to obtain the motion characteristics is one of the most important parts. In this paper, a statistical method is proposed to process the data obtained by RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) system. After calculating the PDF (Probability Density Function) curves of RSSI (Received Signal Strength Indicator), the power distribution of different motions can be obtained, such as the power value with the maximum probability of occurrence and its corresponding PDF value, the number of peak values. Different actions can be distinguished according to these features.
