A Wide Bandpass FSS with High Selectivity and Low Insertion Loss

摘要
In this paper, a wide bandpass frequency selective surface (FSS) with high selectivity and low insertion loss is proposed. The designed FSS structure is cascade by multilayer non-resonant FSS structures. The equivalent circuit model (ECM) and equivalent process of the proposed FSS structure are given. The ECM simulation results are in good agreement with the full-wave simulation results. At normal incidence, the simulated relative bandwidth and rectangle coefficient (RC) achieved is 79.8% and 0.495, respectively. At oblique incidence, the proposed FSS structure can still maintain broadband and highly selective characteristics.
