Study on Attenuation Characteristics of THz Wave Oblique Incident in Fully Ionized Dusty Plasma Based on FPL Model

By combining the general Boltzmann equation with the Fokker–Planck–Landau (FPL) collision model, a model of the total complex permittivity of fully ionized dusty plasma is established. The Wentzel–Kramers–Brillouin (WKB) method is used to calculate the attenuation coefficient (Att) of the THz wave obliquely incident into the fully ionized dusty plasma under the external magnetic field. In addition, the attenuation characteristics of THz waves obliquely incident into fully ionized dusty plasma are analyzed and discussed from the aspects of THz wave incident angle, external magnetic field strength, and dust particle concentration. The results show that the Att of left-THz circular-polarized waves in the fully ionized dusty plasma increases with the increase of incidence angle, radius and concentration of the fully ionized dusty particles.
