High-Freqency Scattering Characteristic Analysis of Targets Based on Scattering Source Decomposition

This paper proposes a modeling method that combines ray-tracing and spatial ray clustering based on partition identification with quantitative calculations of high-frequency electromagnetic theory. The method decomposes the overall echo scattering of high-frequency targets into the sum of contributions from multiple scattering sources, effectively separating and quantitatively characterizing the strong scattering sources of the target and determining the main scattering sources and regions. It establishes an accurate correspondence between strong scattering sources and target components. The article examines the changes in the scattering contributions of the target’s local scattering structure under different simulation parameters. It provides effective technical support for analyzing the inherent mechanism of the change in the RCS characteristics of the target and for researching radar target characteristic simulation.
