Wideband Fabry-Perot antenna with gain controllable adopts temperature control method

摘要
A gain controllable Fabry-Perot (FP) antenna based on a partially reflective surface (PRS) of liquid materials is investigated. The components of the antenna consist of a patch antenna and a 9 * 9 partially reflective surface. Water is added to the microfluidic channel of the partially reflective surface, and the gain is adjustable by adjusting the water temperature. The simulated results show that the gain of the antenna will be gradually enhanced when the water temperature decreases. At 10 °C, the gain of the antenna reaches 15 dBi, and the 10-dB impedance matching bandwidth reaches 24%.
