摘要
The interest in High-frequency AC (HFAC) link converters has increased with the rise of renewable energies, the needed energy storage to complement energy production and electric vehicles. In this context, HFAC link converters have been proposed as an elegant multiport converter solution that allows connecting energy sources, energy storage, and electric vehicles with a single converter. The operating frequency at which the HFAC link will operate depends on the power to be transferred and the resonance time of this link. In this paper, three different methods for calculating the resonance time and their impact on the total frequency of the converter are investigated. By applying simplifications, this work demonstrates that accurate results are achievable while reducing the complexity of the calculation. Based on these simplifications, less complex analytical models of the converter can be derived.
