摘要
for complex engineering and science purposes, computational fluid dynamics (CFD) needs an enormous computational ability. It is essential to fully analyze, optimization and verify the viability of CFD methods. The meshing process is one of the key factors that affects the CFD simulation’s accuracy. To generate sets of grid elements and determine the precision, meshing methodologies are employed. The article studies multiple meshing sizes. Utilizing the measured values obtained from the Wind-Tunnel, one can apply a performance estimation. The paper will employ the MK-82 bomb to verify the thesis. The Mk-82 bomb’s aerodynamic coefficients are estimated in this article for typical flight circumstances (the test speed is 54 m/s). According to the paper’s results, smaller element sizes produce more precise final results. However, the small size leads to high number of elements that need more hardware resources for the processing.
