摘要
In this paper the study on far field profile variation in Kerr type nonlinear parabolic index fiber for the first higher order mode using a simple technique has been proposed, which has the potential of removing the mathematical complexities of the conventional techniques available in the literature. The results are compared with the ideal linear fiber and the actual results obtained by conventional finite element technique. For establishing the accuracy of the said formalism, we have considered two most commonly occurring values of nonlinearities in silica material. The excellent match obtained by the proposed method shall establish its utility in the field of optical fiber technology.
