Effect of Control Design on Yield and Selectivity for Multiple Reactions in a Tubular Type Reactor

Implementation of a temperature-composition cascade control structure for consecutive multiple reactions performed in a tubular reactor is studied. Response of the control system is evaluated by applying disturbances in the inlet composition and the temperature of the fluid, whose effect is analyzed in the composition of the product obtained, the temperature, yield and selectivity of the reaction.
