Broadband, Full-Duplex Transceive Amplifier for Bi-Static, Reflectometer-Operated Radar Applications in X-Band

This paper introduces and investigates several full-duplex components for the realization of Bi-static Radar operation driven by commercial one port reflectometers. Next to the component requirements, two broadband transceive (TRX) amplifier concepts are presented. The introduced topologies are investigated and optimized in simulations. Measurement results and performance of the manufactured components are discussed in detail and are compared to already existing realizations.
