This paper delves into an exploration of the dynamic behavior and control complexities surrounding Voltage-Controlled Oscillators (VCOs) within the domain of high-speed data transmission systems. The study presents an exhaustive analysis of the intricate dynamics inherent to VCOs, accounting for their inherent nonlinearity. To capture these nonlinearity and dynamic traits with precision, we meticulously construct a comprehensive state-space model. Our methodology offers a nuanced comprehension of VCO dynamics, surpassing the scope of conventional linear models. Through a thorough investigation of the model’s intricacies and attributes, we illustrate its potential to surmount the limitations of linear counterparts.
