Research on the Day-ahead Dispatch Strategy for Multi-energy Power Systems Considering Wind and PV Uncertainty

The day-ahead dispatch strategy for multi-energy power systems can be used to schedule unit start-up and shutdown, units' output, and power flow. However, integrating wind and solar energy into the power system brings strong uncertainty, leading to deviations in traditional scheduling results. This paper research the day-ahead dispatch of the multi-energy power systems, including wind power, photovoltaics, thermal power, gas power, pumped storage, cluster electric vehicles, and other forms of power generation. Considering the physical characteristics of different forms of power generation and aiming for optimal system network security and operating economy, a multi-energy power system scheduling model was established. Finally, the commercial software package CPLEX was called using the MATLAB platform to complete mixed-integer programming optimization. The results show that the proposed day-ahead dispatch approach can achieve the optimal system operating cost and reduce the wind curtailment rate.
