Conducted Electromagnetic Interference Modeling for Motor Drives Based on Port Impedance Measurement

Electromagnetic interference(EMI) is a major difficulty in the design of motor drive system. In order to provide an effective design basis for the electromagnetic compatibility problem of motor drive system, this paper proposes a modeling method of motor drive system considering parasitic parameters based on port impedance measurement. Analyze the physical structure of the main components of the motor drive system, including cables, inverter, motors, and establish an equivalent circuit model based on the impedance characteristics. An experimental platform is built according to the GJB 151B-2013 CE102 standard, and electromagnetic interference experiments are conducted. Results show that the simulation model established by this method can accurately predict electromagnetic interference.
