摘要

•Surface reconstruction can improve the electrocatalytic activity of catalysts.•The doping of Ag nanoparticles facilitates the exposure of more metal-active sites.•AgCoPi-OH shows excellent OER and HER performance in alkaline.•AgCoPi-OH requires 259 and 56 mV overpotentials to reach 10 mA cm−2 for OER and HER.•AgCoPi-OH maintains 1.5 A cm−2 under industrial conditions over 50 h.
