摘要

•Binuclear Mn(II) complexes based on pyridyl-containing dialkylphosphine oxides were synthesized.•Structure of the complexes were elucidated by spectral and X-ray diffraction methods.•Mn(II) complexes were evaluated for their in vitro cytotoxicity against M−HeLa and HuTu80 cells.•The blue luminescence and catalytic activity in hydrogen evolution reaction of complexes were revealed.
