Giant enhancement of the axial Casimir force of a rotating particle near hyperbolic metasurface

•Axial Casimir force acting on a rotating nanoparticle can appear near a hyperbolic metasurface.•Axial Casimir force can be enhanced remarkably compared with that in bi-isotropic configuration.•Axial Casimir force can be flexibly modulated by chemical potential of graphene.
