摘要
An objective approach is presented for determining peridynamic (PD) material parameters for the nonlinear pre-peak behavior of fiber-reinforced composite laminates. The fiber and matrix material regions are explicitly represented. The pre-peak behavior of laminae exhibiting different degrees of nonlinearity depending on the fiber orientation is represented by the PD adaptations of the Ramberg-Osgood (RO) and hyperbolic relationships. The approach is extended to capture the nonlinear inter-laminar response for laminates. The PD method is validated against experiments for several off-axis composite coupons under quasi-static tension. The current approach accurately captures the nonlinear pre-peak material behavior of fiber-reinforced composites.
