•Prepared a biodegradable elastomer for electrospinning using modified PPC Polyols.•AMMT-3 has superior performance compared to current commercial products.•AMMT-3 is biodegradable and no adverse reactions when applied to the skin surface.•The research demonstrated the feasibility of industrial production of AMMT-3.
