Development and Validation of a Machine Learning Prediction Model to Improve Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm Screening

•Type of Research: Single center, retrospective non-randomized cohort study.•Key Findings: 18,660 patients included to create a machine learning algorithm made up of 41 predictors for AAA. Detection of AAA increased by a lift of 200% when 100 ultrasounds completed per month as compared to screening based on current guidelines.•Take home Message: Machine learning has the ability to significantly improve the efficiency of screening for abdominal aortic aneurysm.
