摘要

•Interface engineering is used to boost the ORR activity of the SOFC cathode.•NBSC/GDC hetero-interfaces were constructed by in situ self-assembly.•NBSC/GDC hetero-interfaces facilitate the charge transfer and oxygen ion transport.•NBSC-10GDC exhibits an impressive MPD value of 1.36 W cm−2 at 750 °C.
