摘要
•A crystalline-amorphous TiO2/Ce2O3 heterojunction with an average size of 15 nm is constructed for UV-shielding.•The TiO2/Ce2O3 exhibits significantly reduced photocatalytic activity.•The heterostructure promotes the recombination of electron-hole pairs and reduces the carriers’ redox potential.•OP modification provides OP-TiO2/Ce2O3 near-monodispersity and good compatibility with fluorocarbon resin.
