摘要
•Apparent survival rates of male and female L. reducta differ greatly, male apparent survival is higher.•The populations of L. reducta in Germany consist of less than 130 adults, efficient habitat management is urgently needed.•The dispersal of L. reducta appears limited, only 9 % of the individuals disperse over more than 1 km.•Our study illustrates that mixture distributions provide great opportunities to fit butterfly dispersal data.
