Integrated metabolomics and network pharmacology to reveal antioxidant mechanisms and potential pharmacological ingredients of citrus herbs

•A total of 1126 secondary metabolites were detected in citrus herbs.•ZQ and HJH had higher levels of coumarins than GCP and CP.•The PMFs content of GCP was significantly higher compared to other citrus herbs.•Citri Reticulatae Pericarpium exhibited strong antioxidant activity than ZQ and HJH.•A total of 59 potential pharmacological ingredients were identified in citrus herbs.
