Hydrothermal Synthesis of Cobalt Vanadium Oxide (Co3V2O8) Hexagonal Disc for High-Performance Supercapacitors

•Co3V2O8 hexagonal disc have been prepared by varying the Co/V ratio.•SEM/TEM confirms the crystalline structure of Co3V2O8 hexagonal discs.•The electrochemical properties of the Co3V2O8 hexagonal discs.•The areal capacitance, energy/power densities, diffusion coefficient, standard rate constant, and transfer coefficient of the CVO hexagonal discs have been investigated.
