摘要
We reported acute IOP changes that are associated with reduced RNFL thickness in a group of patients undergoing intravitreal injections of anti-VEGF drugs for neovascular age-related macular degeneration. Moreover, topographical sub-analysis revealed that the nasal RNFL region is most prone to IOP fluctuations. This finding may explain the sudden visual acuity change in patients immediately after injection and may sustain injuries to optic nerve head structures producing glaucomatous damage.
