摘要
Microscopic mixing characteristics within a Y-shaped microchannel reactor are explored using the iodide-iodate parallel competition reaction. The impact of operational parameters and ultrasound synergy on the segregation index (a mixing efficiency measure) is assessed. Factors including channel angle, outlet tube length, hydrogen ion concentration, volume flow ratio, and ultrasound parameters were analyzed for their influence on the segregation index. The findings indicate that mixing efficiency is significantly influenced by the choice of microchannel angle, outlet tube length, and other operational parameters. Furthermore, a notable improvement in micro-mixing was demonstrated through ultrasound intervention, with increased power levels and shorter pulse intervals enhancing efficiency. This comprehensive analysis underscores the potential of ultrasoundenhanced microscale mixing within Y-shaped microchannels, providing insights into the precise control of microfluidic systems for various applications.
