摘要

•UHT mafic granulite is identified in the eastern Alxa Block (AB)•Peak metamorphism at 948 – 1048 ℃/11 – 14 kbar following a clockwise P-T path.•A long-lived (1.97 – 1.86 Ga) hot orogen in the eastern AB resulted from subduction.•UHT metamorphism supports the extension of the Khondalite Belt to the eastern AB.
