•Isopropanol removed from recovery mixture in pentane diol production process.•PDMS coating on inside of PVDF hollowfiber performed for module preparation.•TEOS and FDTS was used as crosslinker to performed the crosslinking.•In pervaporation, PDMS-FDTS membrane outperformed by giving stable performance.
