Design and synthesis of a hydrazinopthalazine derived chemosensor to detect metal ions Zn2+, Al3+ via CHEF effect with biological study and theoretical calculation

A hydrazinopthalazine based chemosensor H3L has been developed for selective detection of Zn2+ and Al3+ ions. Fluorescence turn on process is established both experimentally and theoretically. Low detection limit (∼10−6 M) and high binding constant (∼104 M−1) of the probe towards Zn2+ and Al3+ ions justify its applicability towards environmental and biological sample analysis. H3L is deployed in paper strip model and practical determination of Zn2+ and Al3+ on cervical cancer cells.
