摘要
Real-time dynamic imaging of the electrochemical reactions on individual nanoparticles is important for the design of novel and highly efficient electrocatalytic systems. Single-molecule fluorescent microscopy (SMFM) has been proven to be a powerful tool for in situ imaging electrochemical reactions at the single-particle level. In this article, we summarize the applications of SMFM in the field of electrochemistry, including imaging of electrochemical redox reactions, electrocatalysis, and photoelectrocatalysis. Finally, we present some new perspectives and challenges in the field, encouraging more researchers to apply this single-molecule technology more widely in energy-related processes.
