摘要
•The biosynthesis of iron nanoparticle using Moringa oleifera mediated leaf extract through reduction of iron salt solution.•The synthesized iron nanoparticles were characterized using UV VIS. Spectroscopy, (FTIR), Zeta Potential, (SEM) and (EDX).•SEM analysis showed the formation of the Nanoflower-shaped synthesized iron nanoparticles with size range from 10nm to 90 nm.•Phytochemical investigation of various extracts of Moringa oleifera revealed the existence of amino acids, alkaloids, carbohydrates, anthraquinones (free and combined), carbohydrates, phenolic compounds, tannins, flavonoids, saponins, steroids or terpenes and proteins, and the absence of reducing sugars.•The antibacterial activities of the synthesized FeNPs were evaluated against against M. luteus and B. subtilis (Gram +ve) bacteria and P. aeruginosa and S. marcescens (Gram -ve) bacteria.
