摘要

•The oasis cooling effect was investigated within 12 scenarios in three seasons.•The human thermal comfort was evaluated based on the PET index in arid climates.•A neutral range can be ensured in well-defined spatial and microclimatic aspects.•Palm tree grids of 10 and 12 m are the optimal scenarios for the neutral range.•The neutral range is mainly affected by Tmrt with a rate of 53%.
