摘要
Low-sidelobe Orbital Angular Momentum vortex beams are used to improve the performance of circular-ring arrays for localization applications. In particular, the proposed solution provides a single isolated null of the pattern in the spectral plane and hence overcomes the usual limitations of common techniques leading to a line (or perpendicular lines) of power-pattern zeroes in the spectral plane. Furthermore, it allows a full control of the sidelobes amplitude by recurring to a Convex Programming strategy.
