摘要
Spinal cord ischemia (MI) is a feared complication of open and endovascular aortic surgery. Prophylactic or curative cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) drainage helps prevent or treat MI. The objective of this single-center study was to compare the rate of MI and mortality after implantation of fenestrated and/or branched stentgrafts (FBEVAR) for the exclusion of thoracoabdominal aneurysms (TAA) in patients who underwent prophylactic drainage versus patients without prophylactic CSF drainage.
