Lower versus higher oxygen targets after resuscitation from out-of-hospital cardiac arrest: A systematic review and meta-analysis of randomized controlled trials

•This meta-analysis has updated the existing evidence and included seven RCTs with 1454 OHCA patients.•Targeting of a lower or higher oxygen therapy results in similar survival and neurological outcomes.•Subgroup analyses according to timing of oxygen therapy demonstrated the consistent findings.
