摘要
In this study, a high-precision rotation angle measurement method based on polarization self-mixing interference (SMI) is proposed. The higher signal-to-noise ratio SMI signal can be obtained by the differential processing of two polarized SMI signals with opposite phases. In order to reduce the influence of the speckle effect, the envelope sig-nal is used to normalize the SMI signal. The fringe subdivision method is used to improve the accuracy of the rota-tion angle measurement. The experimental results show that the error of the rotation angle measurement is within +/- 0.5%, and the measurement range can reach up to 20 degrees. (c) 2023 Optica Publishing Group
