摘要
Laparoscopic Roux-en-Y gastric bypass surgery (LRYGB) is a complex and high-risk procedure with technical challenges. Currently, there are few training models available for LRYGB. High-fidelity models are mainly concentrated in cadavers and virtual reality, and are rare in dry laboratory training. We have created high-fidelity models specifically designed for LRYGB training using a 3D printer, which is focused on the core surgical steps of the procedure. Fluorescent marking technique was used to establish small gastric pouch and disconnect small intestinal, aiming to minimize wear and tear on the models. These models overcome the ethical concerns and storage difficulties associated with cadaver models, as well as the high cost and lack of tactile feedback that are typically found in virtual reality simulations, thus providing surgeons with a realistic and feasible LRYGB training platform.
