Pans symptom rating scale: psychometric properties and factor analysis

PANS is characterized by sudden onset of OCD and/or restrictive eating and associated neuropsychiatric symptoms from ≥2 of 7 categories. The PANS Symptom Rating Scale was developed to identify and measure the severity of PANS symptoms. The purpose of this study was to define the psychometric properties of the scale including factor analysis. It was predicted that validity data and factor analysis would support the usefulness of this instrument for assessing children with PANS.
