摘要

•copper-graphene nanoflake (cu-gnfs) coatings were sprayed using suspension plasma spray (sps).Copper-graphene nanoflake (Cu-GNFs) coatings were sprayed using Suspension Plasma Spray (SPS).•GNFs survived the spray process and mixed well with copper.•The addition of GNFs reduced coating porosity and roughness.•Cu-GNFs coatings have superior antibacterial properties vs. pure copper.
