A novel organic anode with 14 electrons participating in redox reactions prepared under mild conditions

摘要
A new covalent organic framework is synthesized and used as an anode material for lithium-ion batteries for the first time. Both the imine bond (C=N) and aromatic C=C bond of the TAACOF can store lithium ions reversibly, a total of up to 14 electrons participating in the redox reaction, corresponding to a high theoretical capacity of 1330.8 mAh/g.
