Yttria activated lanthanum -barium titanate ceramic electrode for fast charging supercapacitor applications

摘要
•La2O3 and Y2O3 activated lanthanum-barium-titanate Ba(60-x)Ti(40-y)LaxYyO3 (BTLa10Y10) nanoceramics were investigated.•TEM micrographs of BTLa10Y10 ceramics unveiled the existence of BaTiO3 nanorods.•The electrical conductivity (σac) was reported as high as 40 S/cm at higher frequencies in BTLa10Y10 ceramics.•Highest specific capacitances and energy densities of BTLa10Y10 were found to be 3.1106 F/g for and 1.5553 Wh/Kg, respectively.•Impedance spectral profile (Z’ vs -Z”) varies at higher frequencies on the charge transfer property of BTLa10Y10 ceramics.
