Estimating thermal performance of thermosyphons by artificial neural networks

摘要
•Experimental investigation of thermosyphons thermal performance were made.•For the first time, Unorganized Machines (UM) were used to predict thermal resistance.•Different filling ratios, slopes, and heat loads were considered.•UM overcame the other models, Radial Basis Function Network and Multilayer Perceptron.•The best filling ratio was 40% and predicted values were close to experimental ones.
