摘要
•Three novel FDHs with higher catalytic activity toward sodium bicarbonate including FmFDH, KsFDH and SsFDH were obtained.•SsFDH has greater potential in CO2 reduction.•Catalytic mechanism of reducing CO2 to formate was explained using bioinformatic and computational biochemical methods.
